Ingredients
  

For the chocolate cups

  • 2 cups Melted milk chocolate Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor.
  • 12 small or medium-sized cups Disposable cups (plastic or paper) Use to form the chocolate cups.

For decoration

  • 5-6 Candy canes For topping and decoration.
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar For decoration.
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows Use for topping the hot chocolate.
  • 4 tablespoons Cocoa powder Mix into each cup as desired.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave on low power, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into disposable cups, swirling to coat the insides completely.
  • Set the cups upside down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow the chocolate to set for 20-30 minutes.
  • Once set, carefully peel away the disposable cups to reveal the chocolate cups.

Decoration

  • Pour a small amount of melted chocolate into each cup to secure a candy cane upright in the center.
  • Mix cocoa powder into each cup, then top with mini marshmallows, drizzling more melted chocolate on top to hold them in place.
  • Decorate the outside of the cups with swirls of melted chocolate and sprinkle with granulated sugar to resemble snow.

Serving

  • To serve, place a chocolate cup into a mug of hot milk, letting it sit for a minute before stirring to combine.

Notes

Store leftover cups in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For warm climates, refrigerate to prevent melting.
