For the filling and coating

  • 1 cup chocolate filling You can use chocolate ganache or your favorite chocolate spread.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips for dipping Adds a creamy, sweet coating.
  • to taste sprinkles or edible decorations For a festive and fun touch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  • Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a slightly crumbly yet cohesive dough forms.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  • Cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
  • Place the cookie cutouts on a lined baking sheet with space between each.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a cooling rack.

Assembly

  • Once cooled, spread chocolate filling on the bottom of half the cookies.
  • Top with the remaining cookies to create sandwiches.
  • Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.
  • Dip each sandwich cookie into melted white chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  • Place dipped cookies on a cooling rack to set.
  • Decorate with sprinkles or edible decorations before the chocolate hardens.
  • Allow the chocolate to set before serving (15-20 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate to speed up).
