Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar and butter on medium-high speed until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, followed by vanilla extract.
Fold in the mashed bananas until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Stir in most of the chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle reserved chocolate chips on top.
Bake for approximately 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean or with a few crumbs attached.
Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
