Ingredients
  

For the Sauce

  • 10-15 pieces red chili peppers Adjust based on heat tolerance.
  • 1 head of garlic Use fresh for the best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Can adjust for sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For cooking.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Remove the stems from the red chili peppers and peel the cloves from the head of garlic.

Blending

  • In a blender, combine the cleaned chili peppers, peeled garlic, white vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Blend until smooth.

Cooking

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Pour the blended sauce into the saucepan and allow to simmer for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cooling

  • Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature before transferring to a clean jar for storage.

Notes

Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays.
