Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Spaghetti cooked al dente
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 small Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 lb Cooked Chicken shredded
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Milk whole milk adds extra creaminess
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 1/2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Peas
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for toasting breadcrumbs

Instructions
 

  • Cook spaghetti until al dente, drain well, and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter. Add onion and garlic, and cook until soft and fragrant, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, salt, and pepper. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  • In a large bowl, mix cooked spaghetti, chicken, peas, and the sauce. Add Parmesan cheese and stir to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  • In a small pan, heat olive oil. Add breadcrumbs and toast lightly. Sprinkle on top of the casserole.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Feel free to swap the chicken with turkey or add extra vegetables like mushrooms or spinach for a twist!
