Marinate the chicken breasts in a glass container with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
When ready to cook, let the chicken come to room temperature for a few minutes.
Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
Cook the chicken for 5-10 minutes on one side, then flip and cook an additional 5 minutes until fully cooked.
Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Serve with your favorite side dishes and garnish as desired.
