Ingredients
  

Chicken Filling

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken Use rotisserie chicken for extra flavor.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella) Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Dough

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough Keep the dough cold for flakiness.
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash) Brush on top for a golden finish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  • Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  • Take a spoonful of the chicken mixture and place it in the center of each triangle.
  • Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pinching to seal tightly, forming a pillow shape.
  • Place the prepared pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush the tops of the pillows with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let the pillows cool slightly before serving.
