Chicken pasta is an easy and tasty meal combining tender chicken with pasta and a delicious sauce. Perfect for any day, it’s quick to prepare and always satisfying.
500gramschicken breasts or thighscut into bite-sized pieces
Pasta
300gramspastapenne, fettuccine, or spaghetti
Sauce and Seasoning
2tablespoonsolive oil
3clovesgarlicminced
1mediumonionfinely chopped
1cupsaucechoose heavy cream or tomato sauce
½cupParmesan cheesefreshly grated
2tablespoonsfresh herbsbasil or parsley, chopped

Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente. Drain, reserving half a cup of pasta water.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
In the same pan, add onion and garlic. Cook until soft and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
Add your chosen sauce to the pan. Simmer gently, stirring occasionally. Add reserved pasta water if sauce thickens too much.
Return chicken to the pan, add pasta, and toss to coat evenly with sauce.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
