Chicken Nuggets:
- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional
Fries:
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Nuggets
Start by cutting your boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, perfect for dipping and even cooking. Set up three bowls: one with flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; another with beaten eggs; and the third with panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese (optional). Coat each chicken piece by dipping it first into the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and finally the breadcrumbs. For cooking, you can either bake the nuggets in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes or fry them in a skillet with oil for about 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.
Step 2: Prepare the Fries
Slice the russet potatoes into uniform strips, about ¼ inch thick. Toss them in olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional paprika for extra flavor. For baking, spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway. Alternatively, fry them in hot oil at 375°F (190°C) for about 4-5 minutes until they turn golden and crispy.
Step 3: Serve the Dish
Once the chicken nuggets and fries are cooked, arrange them on a plate and serve with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ketchup, BBQ sauce, or ranch dressing. Enjoy!
