Instructions
 

Cooking Chicken

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side until golden-brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in the freshly chopped basil leaves.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and coat thoroughly with the basil cream sauce.
  • Let simmer for another 5 minutes to meld flavors.

Serving

  • Plate each chicken breast and spoon the creamy sauce over the top.
  • Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
  • Serve warm with sides like mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
