Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Prepare your slow cooker.
  • Add shredded chicken, corn kernels, diced potatoes, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the slow cooker.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir everything together for even distribution.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set to high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.
  • The chowder is ready when the potatoes are tender and easily pierced with a fork.
  • Stir in the heavy cream or milk and cook for an additional 30 minutes.

Serving

  • Ladle the chowder into bowls and garnish with diced green onions or fresh parsley, if desired.
  • Serve with crusty bread or a side salad for an enhanced meal.

Notes
