Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups pasta penne or fettuccine recommended
  • 2 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts chicken cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions. In the last 2–3 minutes of boiling, add the broccoli. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and let simmer for 3–4 minutes. Stir in parmesan until melted and smooth.
  • Add cooked pasta and broccoli to the sauce. Toss in the chicken and mix well. Let everything heat together for 2–3 minutes.
  • Serve hot with extra parmesan or lemon juice if desired.
