  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • A pinch of cinnamon Optional topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Measure out one cup of yogurt and place it in a mixing bowl.
  • Add in the chia seeds, stirring them into the yogurt until fully combined.
  • If desired, mix in the honey or maple syrup, followed by the vanilla extract.
  • Allow the mixture to sit for about 10 to 15 minutes so the chia seeds can absorb moisture and thicken the yogurt.
  • After the resting period, stir the mixture again to ensure an even consistency.
  • Serve the chia seeds in yogurt in bowls or jars.
  • Top with fresh fruit, nuts, or seeds, and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon if desired.
  • Enjoy right away, or refrigerate for later.

Notes
