Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup protein powder Use a blendable protein powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened Bring to room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Add-ins

  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, protein powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, stirring until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution throughout the dough.

Baking

  • Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown while the center remains soft.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to finish cooling.

Notes
