Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter Softened.
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar Packed.
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Dried Cranberries
  • 1 cup Orange Zest
  • ½ cup Chopped Nuts Optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually blend the dry mixture into the creamed mixture until just combined.
  • Fold in the dried cranberries, orange zest, and nuts (if using).
  • Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, leaving space between each.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. The centers should be soft.
  • Cool the cookies on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
