Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and dried herbs.
Fold in the shredded cheese until it's evenly coated with the flour mixture.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil (or melted butter), and egg until smooth.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and pour the batter into it, smoothing the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool for at least 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and enjoy warm, or serve with butter or your favorite spreads.
