  • Stir in the chopped cabbage and diced potatoes, combining them well with the onion and garlic.
  • Pour the vegetable broth into the pot and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce heat and let it simmer for 20-30 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, adding any optional herbs at this stage.
  • Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped herbs if desired.
