Preparation

  • Line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper, allowing some overhang on the sides.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted salted butter, vanilla extract, creamy peanut butter, and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.
  • Stir in the graham cracker crumbs until well incorporated.
  • Transfer the peanut butter mixture into the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe cup in 30-second increments, stirring until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly.
  • Refrigerate the dish for at least 2 hours until the chocolate is firm.
  • Once set, lift the bars out using the parchment paper and cut them into squares for serving.
