Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

  • In a large bowl, combine the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Then, mix in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips (or nuts) until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the blondies to cool in the pan before cutting them into squares and serving.
