  • 6 large large eggs Fresh, high-quality eggs recommended
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli florets Use vibrant, fresh florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar, mozzarella, or your preference
  • 1/2 cup milk Can use whole, low-fat, or cream
  • 1 small onion, diced Add sweetness and flavor
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For enhanced flavor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing the vegetables
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your preference
  • Optional: fresh herbs like parsley or chives for garnish For added flavor and presentation

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Remove from heat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the sautéed vegetables and shredded cheese to the egg mixture, stirring until everything is coated.
  • Pour the mixture back into the skillet or transfer it to a greased oven-safe dish.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the frittata is set and the top is golden brown.
  • Once done, remove from oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
