For the Blueberry Topping

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries Rinse and drain before using.
  • 1 cup blueberry pie filling Store-bought or homemade, as preferred.
  • to taste additional sugar for topping Optional, based on preference.

  • In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish to form a crust.
  • Bake the pretzel crust for about 10 minutes, then allow it to cool completely.
  • In another bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the fresh blueberries with blueberry pie filling.
  • Spoon this mixture over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly.
  • Refrigerate the dish for at least 3 hours, allowing everything to set properly before serving.
