Ingredients

softened

white sugar

light brown sugar

activated charcoal powder

Instructions
Cream softened butter with white and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
Add the egg, activated charcoal, vanilla extract, milk, and kosher salt. Mix until well combined.
Sprinkle in the baking soda and gradually add the flour, mixing gently with a spatula until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips evenly into the dough.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing each cookie about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12-13 minutes, until edges are set but centers are soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
