Ingredients

For the mousse

  • 1 cup heavy cream Make sure it's well chilled for better whipping.
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff spread The star ingredient for flavor.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar Used to sweeten the mousse.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the overall flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin powder For setting the mousse.
  • 1/4 cup water Used for blooming the gelatin.
  • 1 cup whipped topping Optional, for extra fluffiness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by blooming the gelatin. In a small bowl, combine the gelatin powder and water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, gently warm the bloomed gelatin until it fully dissolves. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Biscoff spread and powdered sugar. Use an electric mixer to beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the vanilla extract to the bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Gradually pour in the dissolved gelatin, mixing continuously to ensure it blends smoothly into the Biscoff mixture.

Whipping

  • In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until you reach soft peaks. If desired, gently fold in the whipped topping for additional lightness.
  • Carefully fold the whipped cream into the Biscoff mixture using a spatula. Be gentle to preserve the airy texture.

Setting

  • Once everything is combined, spoon or pipe the mousse into serving dishes. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
