Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Measure properly to avoid dense blondies.
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Additions

  • 1 cup Biscoff spread For a stronger flavor, add an extra half cup.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the Biscoff spread until fully integrated, then fold in the optional chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before lifting it out using the parchment paper. Cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
