Butter lettuce, bib lettuce, or iceberg lettuce (for wrapping)
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and creamy peanut butter. Whisk until smooth.
In a medium frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and minced onion. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
Add minced water chestnuts to the pan, then stir in the sauce mixture. Let simmer on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
Fill lettuce leaves with the beef mixture and garnish with green onions and crushed peanuts.
