soy sauce

smoked paprika

garlic powder

BBQ sauce
(or more to taste)
Instructions
Preheat the oven or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the tofu dry with kitchen paper to remove excess moisture.
Tear the tofu into bite-size pieces for better absorption of flavors.
Toss the tofu pieces with olive oil, soy sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
Spread the seasoned tofu on a baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 25 minutes, or 15 minutes in an air fryer, until slightly charred and crispy.
Remove from the oven and toss with ½ to ¾ cup of BBQ sauce to coat.
Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
Serve warm, adding more BBQ sauce if desired.
