Ingredients

Pasta & Shrimp

  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or your choice) Choose your preferred type of pasta.
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh shrimp recommended for best flavor.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Adjust for creaminess preference.
  • 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha Adjust to taste for spice level.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Garnishes & Extras

  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • 1 Juice of lime
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by cooking your pasta according to the package instructions. Ensure you salt the water for better flavor. Once the pasta is al dente, drain it and set aside, reserving a cup of the pasta water.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp and season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they become pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Sauce Preparation

  • In the same skillet, add the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha, stirring over low heat until well combined. Adjust the spiciness according to your preference by adding more sriracha if desired.
  • Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce until fully coated. If the sauce feels too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.

Combine and Serve

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce. Squeeze the lime juice over the pasta and mix.
  • Serve the pasta warm, garnished with chopped green onions, cilantro, and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
