Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly to remove dirt, leaving the skin on.
Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and poke 4-5 holes in each with a fork or knife.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until a fork can easily slide into the potato.
Remove from the oven, cut open, and add butter, salt, and pepper if desired. Serve hot.
