  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Can substitute with gluten-free options if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Use for greasing and breadcrumb mixture.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances the flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning Adds flavor complexity.
  • Fresh parsley for garnish Optional, for presentation.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Caesar dressing and minced garlic. Set aside a small amount of the dressing for later.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Cooking

  • Pour the Caesar dressing mixture over the chicken, ensuring each breast is well-coated.
  • In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan cheese and olive oil. Stir until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the chicken, covering the tops generously.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
  • In the last five minutes of baking, drizzle the reserved Caesar dressing over the chicken for extra flavor.
  • Once done, take the dish out of the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
