  • 2 slices slices of sweet potato or yam, approximately 1/4 inch thick Ensure slices are even for consistent toasting.

For the Avocado Mixture

  • 1/2 each avocado Choose a ripe avocado for best flavor.
  • 1/8 tsp Hy's seasoning salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp light mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp lemon juice Adds freshness.

Instructions
 

Toasting the Sweet Potato

  • Slice sweet potato or yam into 1/4 inch thick slices.
  • Place slices in the toaster on medium setting. Toast until crispy, watching closely to prevent burning.

Preparing the Avocado Mixture

  • In a small mixing bowl, mash the half avocado with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture.
  • Add Hy’s seasoning salt, olive oil, light mayonnaise, and lemon juice to the mashed avocado. Mix well.

Assembling the Toast

  • Place toasted sweet potato slices on a plate.
  • Top each slice generously with the creamy avocado mixture.
  • Serve immediately for best flavor.
