Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
Fold in the chopped apples gently.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
In a small bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter to create a crumb topping.
Spoon the crumb topping over the batter evenly.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan before slicing.
