Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these sweet potato fries are a healthier alternative to traditional fries, made easily in an air fryer.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes peeled (about 12 oz)
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp sweet paprika
  • Fresh black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your air fryer. Spray the basket lightly with oil to prevent sticking.
  • Peel and slice sweet potatoes into 1/4-inch thick planks, then cut into fries.
  • Toss the fries with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Air fry at 380°F for 12 minutes in batches, shaking halfway through.
  • For extra crispy fries, soak the cut fries in hot water for 10 minutes, then dry and air fry at 350°F for 8 minutes, shake, and continue at 380°F for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
