Ingredients
  

Cookie Base

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Ensure butter is softened for better incorporation.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, cream together softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls. Flatten slightly if desired.
  • Place the cookie dough balls in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them for air circulation.
  • Air fry the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are golden.
  • Remove cookies from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.
