  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Add depth to the seasoning.
  • ½ teaspoon paprika Adds a mild smokiness.

Preparation

  • Wash the squash under cool running water and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  • Slice the squash into even rounds or half-moons, about ½ inch thick for uniform cooking.
  • In a bowl, combine the sliced squash, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the seasoned squash in a single layer in the air fryer basket; work in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the squash for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Check for doneness; they should be tender yet slightly crisp.

Serving

  • Once cooked, take out the squash and let it sit for a minute before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
