  • 4 medium medium-sized potatoes Starchy potatoes like Russets or Yukon Golds are preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  • Start by washing and peeling the potatoes. You can choose to leave the skin on if you prefer a more rustic feel.
  • Slice the potatoes into even rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • In a large bowl, toss the potato slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the potato slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to work in batches.

Cooking

  • Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
  • Remove the potatoes once they are golden and crispy. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider spraying the slices with a little olive oil halfway through cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
