Preparation

  • Start by washing and peeling the potatoes, if desired. You can leave the skin on for extra texture and nutrients.
  • Slice the potatoes into even rounds, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • In a large bowl, combine the potato slices, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat each slice evenly.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding.

Cooking

  • Cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Once done, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
