Shrimp Marinade

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or properly thawed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with melted butter for variations
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed recommended

Garnish

  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Preparation

  • Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  • Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until thoroughly coated. Let them marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Cook the shrimp for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Remove the shrimp when they are pink and opaque, then transfer them to a serving dish.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes
