Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 1 lb salmon fillet Choose wild-caught for optimal flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For brushing the salmon.
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder For seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin For seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For seasoning.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste For seasoning.

For Assembly

  • 8 small tortillas (corn or flour) For wrapping the tacos.
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage (green or purple) For slaw.
  • 1 cup shredded carrots For slaw.
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped For slaw.
  • 1 lime juiced For slaw dressing.
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream For creaminess.
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest For flavor.
  • 1 avocado, sliced (optional) For topping.
  • Salsa of your choice (optional) For topping.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels and brush it with olive oil.
  • In a small bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillet.

Cooking Salmon

  • Place the seasoned salmon in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10-12 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.

Preparing Slaw

  • In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and chopped cilantro.
  • Squeeze fresh lime juice over the mixture and toss to combine.
  • In another bowl, mix Greek yogurt or sour cream with lime zest.

Assembling Tacos

  • Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Warm the tortillas in the air fryer for about 2 minutes to make them pliable.
  • Flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces.
  • Place a few pieces of salmon on each tortilla, top with slaw, and drizzle with the yogurt or sour cream mixture.
  • Add avocado slices and salsa if desired. Serve immediately.
