  • 1 can 1 can (14.75 ounces) of salmon, drained and flaked Canned salmon works well for this recipe.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned) Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
  • 1 large 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter option.
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking spray For greasing the air fryer basket.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  • Use a fork to mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Form the mixture into patties, roughly the size of your palm, aiming for about 8 patties.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

Cooking

  • Place the patties in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
  • Cook the patties for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  • Once golden brown and crispy on the outside, remove the patties carefully and serve warm.
