  • 1 pound fresh carrots Choose fresh, firm carrots for best results.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Can be adjusted for desired richness.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Start by washing and peeling the carrots. Trim off the ends, then slice them into uniform sticks or rounds, roughly 1/2 inch thick to ensure even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, combine the carrot pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything well to coat the carrots evenly with the oil and spices.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the seasoned carrots to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding.
  • Cook the carrots for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even cooking.
  • After cooking, carefully remove the basket and transfer the roasted carrots to a serving dish. If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley.
