  • 2 pieces ribeye steaks, around 1-inch thick Look for well-marbled steaks for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For seasoning the steaks.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Enhances the flavor of the steak.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on preference.
  • optional Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for garnish Add for flavor and presentation.

Preparation

  • Remove the ribeye steaks from the fridge and allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub this mix generously on both sides of the steaks.
  • Place the seasoned ribeye steaks in the air fryer basket without touching.
  • Cook the steaks for 10-12 minutes for medium doneness, flipping halfway through.
  • Remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for about 5 minutes to redistribute the juices.
  • Optionally, sprinkle fresh herbs on top before serving.
