Preparation

  • Wash the red potatoes thoroughly under cold water and scrub off any dirt, keeping the skin on for added flavor and nutrition.
  • Cut each potato into quarters or bite-sized pieces, ensuring they are roughly the same size for even cooking.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed to create your seasoning blend.
  • Add the cut potatoes to the bowl, tossing them gently in the seasoning until all pieces are evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Once preheated, place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Air fry the potatoes for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. They should turn golden brown and crispy when done.
  • Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and serve hot.
