Ingredients
  

For the radishes

  • 1 pound fresh radishes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (like parsley or chives, optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash the radishes thoroughly to remove any dirt or grit. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
  • Trim the ends of each radish and slice them in half. If the radishes are large, quarter them for even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the halved radishes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to ensure each radish piece is evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Once preheated, place the seasoned radishes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crisping, until tender and golden brown.

Serving

  • Remove the radishes from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a delightful variation, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder for spice, or toss with herbs like thyme or rosemary for added flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer.
