Air Fryer Hot Ham and Cheese Wraps
Deliciously crispy air fryer wraps filled with savory ham and melted cheese, perfect for lunch, dinner, or a quick snack.
Ingredients
Wrap Ingredients
- 4 pieces Flatbreads or tortillas
- 8 slices Sliced ham Use your favorite type of ham.
- 8 slices Sliced cheese (such as cheddar or Swiss) Feel free to mix different cheeses.
- 2 tablespoons Mustard or mayonnaise (optional) For added flavor.
- 1 cup Lettuce or spinach (optional) For freshness.
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil or cooking spray For crisping the wraps.
- to taste Pepper and other seasonings Customize with your favorite spices.
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay flatbreads or tortillas on a clean surface.
- Spread a thin layer of mustard or mayonnaise on each flatbread if desired.
- Place slices of ham on top of the flatbread, covering the entire surface.
- Add slices of cheese on top of the ham.
- If using, sprinkle some pepper or any preferred seasonings over the cheese.
- For added crunch and freshness, place a few leaves of lettuce or spinach on top.
- Roll the flatbread tightly into a wrap. Ensure the edges are tucked in to prevent spillage.
- Lightly brush or spray the outside of the wrap with olive oil.
Cooking
- Place the wraps in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space for air to circulate.
- Cook in the air fryer for about 6-8 minutes, checking halfway through for even cooking.
- Remove from the air fryer once golden brown and crispy. Let them cool slightly before slicing in half.
