  • 4 medium medium-sized russet potatoes Opt for medium-sized russet potatoes for fluffiness.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil Helps achieve a crispy texture.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adds flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Enhances the flavor profile.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For added color and flavor.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • Fresh herbs (like rosemary or thyme) For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Carefully slice each potato into thin, even slices without cutting all the way through, leaving about 1/4 inch at the bottom intact.
  • In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the oil mixture generously over each potato, ensuring it seeps into the slices.

Cooking

  • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket. Depending on your air fryer size, you may need to do this in batches.
  • Cook the potatoes for 25 to 30 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown, flipping them halfway through.

Serving

  • Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and sprinkle freshly chopped herbs on top before serving.

Notes
