Preparation

  • Start by washing and trimming the green beans. Ensure they are dry before cooking to achieve optimal crispiness.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the green beans with olive oil. Toss until they are evenly coated.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and any optional ingredients like red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Be careful not to overcrowd the basket for even cooking.
  • Cook the green beans in the air fryer for about 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time for even crispness.
  • Once they are cooked, remove the green beans and serve them hot. You can sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top if you like.
