Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
  • 1 cup seeds (like pumpkin or sunflower seeds)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (like almond or cashew butter)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 cup dried fruit (such as cranberries, raisins, or apricots), chopped

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and seeds.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the honey or maple syrup, nut butter, vanilla extract, and salt. If using cinnamon, add it here as well.
  • Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well until everything is nicely coated.

Cooking

  • Spread the granola mixture evenly in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking.
  • Once golden brown and crispy, remove the granola from the air fryer and let it cool completely.
  • Stir in the dried fruit once cooled.
  • Store the granola in an airtight container.

Notes

Keep an eye on the cooking time as air fryers can vary in heat intensity. For chunkier granola, press the mixture down lightly before air frying. You can experiment with flavors by adding spices or different ingredients.
