  • 6 large large eggs
  • ½ cup milk (or non-dairy milk)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your preferred choice)
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (bell peppers, spinach, or mushrooms) Feel free to mix your favorites.
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • Optional: cooked meats or herbs for extra flavor Consider chicken, turkey, or your favorite herbs.

Preparation

  • Begin by whisking the eggs in a large bowl until fully combined.
  • Add the milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  • Stir in the shredded cheese and chopped vegetables. If using cooked meats or herbs, add them now.
  • Spray silicone egg bite molds with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the molds, filling them about ¾ full.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 280°F (about 140°C).
  • Once preheated, place the filled molds in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set and slightly puffed.
  • Carefully remove the molds from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Gently pop the egg bites out of the molds and serve warm or let cool completely for later.
