Cupcake Batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Spoon and level for accurate measurement
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened At room temperature
  • 1/2 cup milk Any kind of milk can be used
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • optional sprinkles for topping For decoration

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients on the counter to make the process smooth.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each before adding the next.
  • Mix in the vanilla extract until combined.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  • Line the air fryer basket with cupcake liners and fill each liner about two-thirds full with the batter.

Baking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the cupcake liners in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cupcakes to cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
