Ingredients
  

Bread and Seasonings

  • 4 cups cubed bread (any kind you prefer) Stale or day-old bread works best.
  • ¼ cup olive oil Extra virgin olive oil recommended.
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs Or your favorite combination.

  • to taste pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by cutting your bread into uniform cubes, about 1-inch in size.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed bread with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper. Stir well until all pieces are evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned bread cubes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are spread out in a single layer.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Once golden and crispy, remove the croutons from the air fryer and let them cool on a towel or parchment paper.
